How Registered Call Works: 3 Steps to Legal Evidence

Any conversation that matters to your business, a verbal agreement, a contract detail, a complaint, a commitment made to a customer can become legally binding evidence.

Send us the recording

Any audio file, any format, plus its transcript. We don't route your calls or touch your phone system

We certify it

As a neutral third party, we verify and lock down the facts: that the recording and transcript exist, who was on the call, when, and for how long.

Get your documentary evidence

One file with everything you need to back up the conversation: the audio, the transcript, and full certification details. Plus tamper-proof safeguards, time-stamping, and secure custody.

What's in your registered call?
The documentary evidence

Everything gets bundled into one structured, verifiable PDF, ready to prove the conversation happened before any competent authority.

Provider ID and declaration

A unique process ID. Lleida.net, as trusted third party, certifies that the certificate matches our own system records, on our legal liability.

Ready to make your calls count in court?

Join the companies already turning everyday conversations into certified legal proof

Why your company needs registered call recording

When a dispute hits, proving what was actually said, and when, changes everything. Here's what registered call recording gets you.

Legal certainty

Irrefutable proof of what was agreed, and exactly when, valid before any authority that asks for it.

Tamper-proof by design

SHA-256 hashing on the audio and transcript means nothing can be altered after the fact without leaving a trace.

Fewer disputes

An objective record of what was actually said heads off conflicts with employees, customers, and suppliers before they escalate.

Built for compliance

Hand the certificate straight to auditors, labor inspectors, mediators, arbitrators, or a courtroom.

Better calls, too

Reviewing conversations doesn't just protect you legally, it surfaces where your team can sharpen customer service.

Zero disruption

Certify what you're already recording, on the infrastructure you already have. No rerouted calls, no new phone system, just an API that plugs straight in.

Not sure how this fits your setup?
Let's talk it through

When should you use a registered call?
Use cases

Registered calls help you prove the conversations your company already handles every day, without changing how you work.

Payment commitments

A customer promises to pay over the phone? Now it's on record.

Verbal consent

Capture consent and verification by voice, with evidence to back it up.

Phone-based contracts

Deals closed by phone get the same legal weight as a signed contract, fully compliant with data and consumer protection rules.

Mediation and arbitration

Solid evidence for ADR processes, resolving disputes faster and often before they reach a courtroom.

Complaints and quality control

Settle disagreements with customers or suppliers on the spot, with an indisputable record of what was actually said.

Sensitive conversations

Give HR and compliance calls the traceability and integrity that protect both the company and its people.

Questions about Registered call ?
Here's what you need to know.

What is a Registered Call?

Think of it as legal-grade proof for a phone conversation. Lleida.net captures the call — or any voice file , along with its transcript, then locks it under a legal guarantee seal that holds up to scrutiny from third parties. The payoff: a simple recording becomes registered evidence you can actually use in court, a claim, an audit, or any situation where you need to prove what was said and when.

Yes, as long as you're one of the people on the call. Spanish law treats this as valid evidence, provided the recording hasn't been altered or obtained in violation of someone's fundamental rights. Spain's Supreme Court has settled this more than once: if you're part of the conversation, you don't have to tell the other person you're recording , that's not a breach of communications privacy. One catch: companies recording calls for contractual purposes have to disclose how they handle that data, as required by the GDPR and Spain's data protection law.

That only works if you're actually on the call yourself. Record someone else's conversation without permission, and you're looking at a criminal offense in Spain (Article 197 of the Criminal Code), prison time and fines included.

Send us the audio file and its transcript through our API, that's it. We handle the rest and hand you back a certificate of evidence with full legal validity.

Not quite. Recording just gets you the audio. Registering is what gives it legal teeth: a trusted provider like Lleida.net processes the file, applies a timestamp, generates a unique integrity (hash), and stores everything securely. That's the difference between a recording nobody can vouch for and one that counts as evidence.

Every certificate carries a unique hash generated the moment it's registered, plus other built-in integrity checks. Alter so much as a single byte of the file, and the hash changes completely , tampering can't hide.

No.All we need is the audio file and transcript. We don't touch your telephony setup or reroute a single call. Keep using whatever provider and systems you're on now.

Nearly all of them, including the common ones, MP3, WAV, M4A. Not sure about yours? Just ask our team before you start.

Yes.If a dispute is headed toward mediation, conciliation, or arbitration instead of court, a Registered Call gives you solid, verifiable proof of exactly what was agreed.
